A must have product if you take pictures February 19, 2010 Mike spencer (sacramento) This is a good quality product that will work with any small camera. I used it to take incredible photo shots on "the worlds most dangerous hike" up in the HuaShan mountains of China. When your walking the HuaShan Plank path which consists of a few narrow boards bolted into the mountain cliff with a 3,000 foot drop, there is not going to be anyone close by volunteering to take your picture so this is where the Xshot comes in handy. Even in crowded venues, there is no need to ask strangers to take your picture. This was a replacement to my broken QuikPod extender.
Awesome Thingy! February 18, 2010 PryncessAnna (Jamaica) Bought this so that I could be in the pics with my hubby during our honeymoon without having to ask for assistance and it was grrrrrrrrreat!! Did the job and every time I whipped it out to use, I got rave reviews as most persons, if not all, were seeing it for the first time!
Great gadget to get if you're tired of being unseen behind the camera - like I definitely was. Had it since 2008, and only the string just got loosed this year.
TIP: If you're taking it in your carry-on, put it near the surface so u can pull it out &put in a tray (like your laptop) b4 baggage scan. This will save u a baggage search, as apparently not many persons know what it is &it has a straight 'weapon looking' shape. I'v had to explain a few times :)
Great for smaller cameras February 14, 2010 Christopher Park (Las Vegas, Nevada USA) I love this for my smaller camera which is a Nikon coolpix. I also have a Nikon D-80 which is doesn't work well, too heavy. Self-photos look way better without my arm in along the edge. Great idea. Incredibly easy to pack along while sightseeing.
Perfect for taking pictures with yourself in them! February 12, 2010 R. Albert (Martha's Vineyard, MA) The is an absolute must for anyone with a small digital camera. Allows me to get myself in wide shots without looking like I'm holding the camera. Perfect for vacation, because you don't have to ask anyone to take the picture for you and still be in the shot. Can't recommend it enough!
Good, but not great. February 7, 2010 M. Latham (West Texas) This product is good, does a reasonably good job at holding my small Sony camera. It is not as well built as I expected for the price. It is very lightweight and does slip at times.
