This full-featured pack is perfect for holding most SLRs with a lens attached up to 7" long, 3-4 additional lenses and accessories. For maximum protection, the pack is fully padded with thick, closed-cell foam. A cinch strap keeps the camera in place while a large rain flap protects the main compartment zippers. Features include: QuickClip tripod attachment system with vinyl reinforced mesh pocket, front accessory pocket with Tamrac's Memory & Battery Management System (patent pending), EasyGrip handle, inner Windowpane-Mesh accessory pockets, and padded backpack harness. Add Tamrac accessories to the Strap Accessory System (S.A.S) and Modular Accessory System (M.A.S.) attachment slots to customize this pack.

2 out of 5 stars Way too small   December 27, 2009
C. M Scalfani
I had no idea how small this was going to be. A normal human being would never be able to use the shoulder straps on this. It seems like it might be made for an infant. But why would an infant need this?

5 out of 5 stars Perfect Little Bag for Nikon D3000   October 4, 2009
Kenneth Eaton (Ann Arbor, MI)
Just bought my first DSLR, a Nikon D3000, and this bag to store it in and I couldn't be happier. It's light and compact, just the right size for the camera, extra zoom lens, and there's even room for my back up point and shoot. If you're a pro with a lot of equipment, look for something bigger, but for someone just starting out, this is outstanding. Everything is snug, but what's best is the inside is reconfigurable to customize for your equipment.

4 out of 5 stars Great bad, feels very safe to my photo equipment into it   August 13, 2009
Alexander (Israel)
4 stars because it's really tight. But I can handle it. Currently I put into it Nikon D90 with 18-105 VR attached, SB600 flash, batteries charger and theres still space for another 2 lenses(small ones). Front pocket is nice to put your wallet, memory cards etc.. It's weather proof, so I don't have to worry about getting wet if caught under the rain, it's a small abd so the advantage of it is I can take it with me wherever I want to, biking, walking etc. I fell safe with this bag knowing my stuff won't get damaged, its pads are really thick and the bag itself feels VERY well made. If you plan on carrying more equipment than go for a bigger one, but for my needs it's a perfect size and the price, no one can beat it.

1 out of 5 stars A little to small   July 6, 2009
Marilyn L. Perry (Georgetown, Indiana)
This bag must be for a little Kid, I think they took a picture of a different bag because there isn't anyway you can get all that in the bag I recieved the camera parely fits, much less with anymore gear. I must say I was really disappointed. So I can't honestly give a the Tamarac 5273 Expedition 3 SLR Photo Backpack a good rateing I have other products of there's that are good but this is the first that I have ever recieved and felt so decieved. I'm Sorry but this was a bad deal.

5 out of 5 stars Another way to use this bag...   May 23, 2009
K. Nixon (VA, USA)
One review for this product mentioned that this bag is too large for a point-and-shoot but too small for a SLR camera. That may be true, but I am using mine to store my 20x super-zoom point-and-shoot, my HD camcorder, and my little 3x zoom Fuji camera. That way, I always have the choice to grab the little camera for great indoor shots at higher ISOs, or the camcorder (rather than shooting sub-par video with my super-zoom), or my super-zoom for great outdoor shots. Being able to keep all my gear with me in this one bag is great for travel and makes this bag very versatile for my needs.
